The Evelyn Nomad Hotel New York City, New York City

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Manhattan, close to major attractions like 5th Avenue, Broadway, and Times Square. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring a welcoming and accommodating stay. However, the dining options are limited and somewhat overpriced, with unfriendly staff at the restaurant. The rooms, though a bit cramped, offer good soundproofing despite HVAC issues, making the atmosphere a bit stuffy at times.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms were small but the beds were extremely comfortable with new fresh linens and plush towels, perfect for two people. However, our room window was right above x3 noisy air conditioning units from the building next door, which made it challenging to sleep at night. The lack of a tea or coffee maker in the room was a bit disappointing.

The Gershwin Hotel is a unique spot in Manhattan with great air conditioning and comfortable rooms featuring unique design features that we loved. However, the windows can be drafty and make the room quite cold at times, and the size of the room was a bit small. The service was kind, friendly, and efficient, although overly attentive, which may require a few extra bucks in tips. The location is perfect for exploring both up and downtown Manhattan, providing easy access to Midtown and Union Square spots, despite being close to attractions usually associated with homelessness. The dining options are very limited with only two basic choices that may leave you wanting more. Overall, happy to stay at the Gershwin again!

The hotel is located near Grand Central in a great neighborhood, offering easy access to both downtown and uptown. The rooms were spacious enough and provided amenities to make tea and coffee, although the view between buildings and HVAC units could be a downside. The staff goes above and beyond in service although the noise from passing by the stairs could be bothersome. The dining options, while not outstanding, allow for easy access to nearby restaurants, and the hotel facilities are satisfactory.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were quite small and dark, overlooking another building, but they served their purpose well. The service was top-notch overall, with kind and understanding staff, though there was an issue with one staff member being rude. The location was fine for my needs and ideal for touring the city, being close to many attractions. The dining options were limited but decent in quality.
